camox freebird 177
light - solid - swift
These last few years, the spectacular evolution of ski touring-mountaineering has lead to the development of many fat skis adapted to the sport. Always prioritising ski performance, we have long been working on a ski which lives up to our demands : wide, alpine style, but without neglecting the requirements of long uphills.
While the Camox Free Bird is built along similiar lines to the Camox All Mountain - a manoeuvrable and tenacious all terrain ski thanks to the Single Beak camber - the core has been completely revised to optimise the weight. Equipped with the Free Bird Gene 2, a wooden core covered in tri and bi directional carbon fibre, the Camox Free Bird is a technical ski which perfectly combines lightness with a surface area that will keep you afloat in the deep.
The Camox range with it’s 98mm to 97mm underfoot is one of this season’s big arrivals. With a performance inspired by the Corvus yet lightweight, here is a model specifically designed for skiability, crucial to the Black Crow’s spirit. For deep snow or carving on perfect pistes, the Camox is the ideal partner to attack or simply enjoy every kind of terrain the mountain has to offer.
