Grown in the vast wilderness of the North Cascade mountains in Washington State, he draws from the cauldron of life and gives energy to those who need it. Former warrior, Michael embraces the mountains with a carnal passion. For him, skiing is about freedom and he never hesitates to head off alone if he can't find a companion ready to answer the call of the wild. Steep slopes and the solitude of the summits are both his muse and his 'raison d'etre', he starts to jump around should too much time go by on the valley floor. Forever impatient, always smiling, a fire burns in his eyes which lights up all those cross his path.
